MANVILLE (1871) 12 & 22 Anerley Vale

Jesse Manville (Bn 1845 D1897 12 Anerley Vale) and wife, Jessie (Bn 1840) were both Shopkeepers/ Grocers at 12 Anerley Vale in 1871. By 1881, Jessie remained a General Shop Keeper, and husband Jesse was a Carman, now both living at No 22.

By 1891, Jesse was a Cab Proprietor, and they were back living back at No 12. By 1901, now a Widow, wife Jessie was living at 25 Palace Road (and 1911). Her occupation is stated as a Carman and Cab Proprietor/Stables. Their son Herbert (Bn 1871) attended Woodland Road School in 1877 until 1884.
