BALDWIN HURLBATT (1861)

Thomas Baldwin Hurlbatt (Bn 1832 Marlborough D1908) of 31 Anerley Vale. His father had been a Fruit Seller. He married Jessie in 1858 when he was a Ticket Collector based at Crystal Palace Station. In 1871 he was a Railway Inspector and by 1891 he was an Eating House Keeper/Coffee at 74 Anerley Road (next to the Rising Sun) with servants. He was still an Eating House Keeper in 1901 (aged 68) but had moved to 13 Palace Square.
