HOPKINS – 36 Anerley Vale

In 1921, William Hopkins (Bn 1888) and his wife, Rosie Lilian (Bn 1894) resided at No 36. He had joined the Coldstream Guards aged 18, 5ft 10”, CofE, in 1906. In 1911, aged 22, his occupation was a Porter at Wandsworth Asylum. By 1921, he was a Cellarman for Ellis & Son, Wine Shop, South Norwood.
