FIELD – Sydenham House, Anerley Vale & 8 Anerley Vale

Henry Field (Bn 1849) & Selina (Bn 1854) by 1891 and were living in Sydenham House, Anerley Vale. By 1901, they had moved to No 8, where they stayed until at least 1921. Henry’s occupation was a Gardener. In 1921 two of their children Ernest and Grace, worked for George Mence Smith, which was a chain of shops. Grace (aged 22) working at the branch at 72 Westow Hill, as a Shop Assistant.
