Margaret Clark, aged 84 (Bn c1797) Widow, was a Lodging House Keeper at No 31 Anerley Vale in 1881. She also lived there in 1861 and 1871, with her husband, John, who was deaf (Bn c1799 D1871 at 23 Anerley Vale). They married in 1829. His occupation was a Whitesmith. In 1841/1851, they were living in Water Lane, Brixton, with their son John Robert, who also became a Whitesmith (Bn 1836) and in 1891, was living at 43 Anerley Vale.
